RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) is a specialized course designed to teach the fundamentals of database design, management, and SQL programming. The course covers data models, tables, relationships, keys, normalization, SQL commands (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE), joins, and database security concepts.
Students learn to store, organize, and manage data efficiently using tools like MySQL, Oracle, or MS Access.
After completing RDBMS, students can work as Database Assistants, SQL Developers, or Data Entry Operators in business and IT organizations.
Part I: MS Access
Module 2: MS Access Basics: Introduction to MS Access Interface, Creating a New Database, Tables: Creating and Modifying, Field Types, Primary Keys, Data Entry and Validation, Creating Forms for Data Input, Queries: Select, Update, Delete, Creating Reports, Relationships Between Tables, Macros and Basic Automation.
Part II: MySQL
SELECT, WHERE, ORDER BY, GROUP BY), Using Joins (INNER, LEFT, RIGHT, FULL), Constraints (NOT NULL, UNIQUE, PRIMARY KEY, FOREIGN KEY), Aggregate Functions (SUM, AVG, COUNT, etc.), Subqueries and Views, User Management and Access Control.Part III: SQL Server (Optional or Parallel with MySQL)
